Mother Mother Binahkaye Joy is an afrofuturist bush mother of 5 children born earthside, and many more starseeds that returned to the light before they could be known in this world. She dances the ringshout to make a way for her children, and for all of her creations. She is ever dancing, so she is ever birthing. Dancing Mother is a spiral movement galaxy that evolves with the breath and expands inside pockets of possibility activated by Mother Mother. Dancing Mother is a fertility dance temple where mothers come to revive their sacred waters, explore the radiant majesty of their dancing bodies, and presence the intuited movement communions that bring forth new life. Dancing Mother is a soft-time performance installation portal that archives precious moments of Mother Mother’s being and becoming, and weaves her creation stories together for the wholehearted wellness of humanity and its future generations. Dancing Mother is a laboratory for movement studies and is the home of experimentation and integration of applied learning for Mother Mother’s fertility codes, movement constellations, ringshout consciousness, and fertility dance methodology, the Majestic Mother Core, also known as the mmC. Dancing Mother is a sovereign birth house and center for birthing movements that supports mothers in listening to their bodies through all parts of the fertility journey, and especially as they prepare for welcoming starseed initiation, growing in seasons of possibilities, giving birth, and rejuvenating themselves after giving birth. Dancing Mother is a design studio for performance and programming curation that thoughtfully engages the rhythms, needs, and superpowers of multitudinous mothering entities. Dancing Mother is a maternal intelligence research and preservation center that archives and encodes the living brilliance of Mother Mother as holy texts, movement pathways, and fertility sermons. Dancing Mother is currently at home in Washington, DC and travels the globe dancing with her family and making a more joyful life for mothers everywhere.
