A protostar is a star on its way to becoming. Just as all stars don’t continue to be come as large and full and bright as the sun, some starseeds don’t continue their journey to becoming fully human. We call those birthing moments, protostar births.
Protostar Birth Consciousness is a gentle discovery portal for mothers wanting to heal their relationship to their fertility after a protostar birth, and recover their fertility radiance for future birthing moments.
Protostar Birth Consciousness is a sacred dance journey into the heart of our birth stories and discovering spaces of healing, activation, and expansion. This soft-time workshop is a virtual, soft-time, immersive portal designed to cultivate generative applications of story brilliance in our everyday lives, and to access new reserves of energy in our body through the recovery of our fertility radiance.

Inside the Soft-time workshop: An Intimately curated portal experience
Mother Mother invites you to move through this soft-time workshop portal at your own pace. Explore the offerings and practices that resonate most and feel generative to your healing, fertility expansions and dreams. Depending on your chosen program, Activators, Dreamers, or Superconductors, you will receive a curated practice map of relevant offerings and have access to the portal to sit with the practices for that week. The portal will be updated each Sunday of the program.
Dance Activations
Mother Mother creates accessible movement prompts and invitations, inspired by the dances she discovered during and after protostar births. These activations support you in being with the bounty of your fertility and healing possibilities. You are encouraged to integrate, play, and experiment with the movements that bring you the most joy.
Dance Stories
Mother Mother shares a collection of videos from her personal movement archive of her dancing during and after protostar births. She tells the story of each moment and how her fertility was restored with each movement.
Movement Sermons
Mother Mother offers recorded movement sermons of the scriptures and spiritual awakenings born of the protostar dance discoveries and other meditations and communions with starseeds that transitioned early.
Shadow Journaling
Mother Mother designs writing practices that complement unearthing the old, static language bodies that have housed your protostar birth journeys, and support you in dancing and breathing into new narratives about your fertility. She reads your shared writing and offers generative reflections and questions as you grow more practiced and fluid in shaping the stories of your fertility.
Constellation Mapping
Share your personal stories and movement explorations with Mother Mother. She sits with your stories and offers soft-time practices for building new systems of understanding around your fertility superpowers. stretching your dream muscles to imagine new futures for your fertility and to make more space in your body for the starseeds who are waiting to come through you.

what is a protostar birth?
A protostar is a star on its way to becoming. Our sun, a main sequence star, was once a protostar. Not all protostars continue along the path of becoming, just as not all life that begins in the womb continues on its way to becoming wholly human. Those protostars that don’t grow into the next dimension of possibility, slowly cool in a gentle unraveling of their stellar potential over millions and millions of years. Eventually the bounty of their being returns to the nebula as stardust and creative matter for other stars, planets, or moons engaged in cosmic formations. There is no loss, ever, only constant transformation and reimagined energies. A protostar birth is when a mother gives birth early, before having the opportunity to give birth to the miracle of human expansion, because that newly evolving life has transitioned inside her womb.

A note about language
A starseed is the physical and energetic matter of a future human being or future creation. I first heard this language from my spiritual midwife and soul sistermama Amber RainMa. In my practice I have come to understand that a starseed is the radiant life energy found within each egg that is preserved in a mother’s ovary, and from which all human life and all creations originate. A starseed is a newly forming being on its way to becoming human, or a dream on its way to becoming realized in the world outside of your body as a dance, a story, or any other form of creation.
